We are seeking a ESG Reporting and Integration lead to drive and shape the future of non-financial reporting across the Trivium Packaging Group, consisting of 50+ facilities across 20+ countries. Your role will be part of the team who is responsible for monthly financial and non-financial reporting and that delivers our monthly, quarterly and annual internal and external reporting to various stakeholders. This is an important global and influential role in the Group Finance function that will work closely with the Sustainability and other ESG technical teams as well as finance functions like Investor Relations and FP&A.

 

Responsibilities

  • Take lead on project management of current CSRD project, that deals with Trivium Group’s ESG reporting commitments
  • Sets up the non-financial reporting framework, in conjunction with the Financial Reporting tam and ensures relevant inputs & collaboration from key stakeholders across the organization are captured where relevant 
  • Safeguard knowledge of ESG reporting requirements within organization, through development of ESG reporting policies, reporting rules and principles
  • Consults with the stakeholders on ESG data tracking, data consistency and globally streamlined processes
  • Be the ESG reporting lead for Trivium Group, managing monthly, quarterly and annual ESG reporting (including annual report disclosures and storyline)
  • Communicate with internal (business teams) and external stakeholders (shareholders, bondholders, banks, analysts) about ESG performance and targets
  • Translate ESG data into insights and linking this to impacts on the current financial reporting and financial statements
  • Main point of contact for ESG reporting auditsBe an internal subject matter expert on applying new ESG reporting requirements
  • Coordinate and document the periodic Double Materiality Assessment exercise through combining the results of ESG risk assessments performed by the risk management team, stakeholder engagement outputs from business teams and views of ESG topic leads
  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting analysis in co-ordination with ESG topic leads

 

Eduction and experience

  • Ideal candidate will have either an ‘academic background’ or ‘work experience’ in both Sustainability and Finance disciplines
  • Knowledge of ESG framework adoption such as CSRD, TCFD, GRI type frameworks
  • Experience of project management and change management, dealing with senior stakeholders
  • Minimum work experience of 6 to 8 years
  • Experienced with preparation and delivery of advanced PowerPoint presentations for senior audiences (ie. presenting complex topics in simple ways)
  • Due to nature of role and heavy internal and external interactions required, highly preferable to have a candidate with an international mindset, flexible working style and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in audit or consulting withing the Sustainability Reporting space (in addition to above) would be a plus
