The Montecchio plant in Italy’s Emilia Romagna region was founded in 1910 by the priest Attilio Alai, for the production of tomato food cans. In 1926 it acquired its first printing line and in the early 70s it was the first company in Italy to produce easy opening ends. Today, Trivium Montecchio is one of the largest EU producers of easy opening ends for steel cans and with its integrated modern printing facilities, allows customers to really differentiate their products on the shop shelves.
